This TV set is in pretty good shape physically for being from 1997.  In good overall shape besides some minor dust build up that I couldn't get rid of, as well as a few scratches, most notably in the front with an approximate 4 inch scratch, and some minor scratching on top.  I have tested the TV to an extent, it turns on and the TV/Video settings work just fine.  I tested my Super Nintendo and it works great without issue, sound comes in loud and clear.

The only issue I noticed is that if you hit the volume up button with enough pressure on the right side of the button especially, that it can alternate back to TV mode from the Video mode.  This could probably be resolved with a remote controller - no remote included, so you will want to buy a universal remote or other replacement if you wish.  All buttons seem to work just fine otherwise.  I have not tested the headphone jack.
