Callicarpa dichotoma is a small deciduous shrub from China and Japan. It has one of the smallest leaves amongst the beauty berry genus making it the best specimen for bonsai. Leaves turn yellow in autumn creating nice contrast to the masses of purple berry clusters along the long arching twigs. Berries last well through winter providing food for wildlife. A preferred plant for hedge and bonsai in China and Japan. Tolerates cold snowy winter and hot summer. Full sun to part shade
