1836 WILLIAM IV GRANT OF ARMS TO CHARLES WELMAN OF SOMERSET ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT

Dated 1836 a Grant of Arms to Charles Noel Welman of Poundsford Park Somerset.

The manuscript is on thick paper, the illumination is in watercolour. The document is signed below by Ralph Bigland, Garter, and William Woods, Clarenceaux,  no seals present.

On the reverse is attached a true copy of a previous Grant of Arms to the family,  from 1709.

In good antique condition,  some rippling to the paper possibly from old damp, small areas of staining to the corners, old fold lines.  The illumination is in good condition with minor rubbing.

Manuscript 59cm x 49.5cm. Approx.  The manuscript will be folded lightly in four along exiting folds for posting.
