My beloved Cannondale Saeco, the longtime dream bike, is going on the sale block. This bike is iconic, and is a dream for many collectors (sure was for me!). It's been stored indoors, unridden, for years. Last week I took it to the shop and asked them to address anything it might need. On top of a fresh tune, they replaced many cables and housings, and put a fresh set of CST Czar 700x25 tires on the new Bontrager Racelite wheels. The only very slight imperfection I can find is that the rubber boot around the shifters has a tiny bit of stickiness to it; maybe from some tape that was on them? I'm sure it could be removed or just put new robber boots on, but I always wore gloves so never cared.
