Here's a rare quart size early 1900 Bay Rum bottle from the famous R.H.Macy & Co (Macy's Department Store) of New York City....The only embossing in the glass is the glasshouse maker's mark on bottom in tiny letters M.B.W. U.S.A. (Millville Bottle Works)....Original label is faded and hard to read, but I can make out EXTRA QUALITY BAY RUM  (red star) R.H.MACY & CO HERALD SQUARE  BROADWAY 34TH TO 35TH STREET NEW YORK ...A tiny label on back has 32 OZ......Hand blown in mold...hand tooled square ring lip...deep emerald green....round...9 1/2"tall...Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with original cork stopper...Roland H.Macy began his first store in New York City in 1858. By 1902 Macy's Department Store had moved to Herald Square (which address is on this bottle). Bay Rum was widely used by barbers as a pleasant smelling antiseptic and aftershave...This big quart size green bottle from Macy's Store is very scarce!....
