Antique Bison? Leather Conductors Money Bag Locking Satchel 1910-20 or a Possibles bag. The dhoulder strap has a widened shoulder pad for comfort of weighted content. The Bag is well made the leather inside and out is in beautiful condition. Very little wear. The exterior could possibly be Bison leather according to the leather pattern. The interior leather is smooth and very clean. The shoulder strap is removable and has what appears to be belt loops to use like a fanny pack or maybe to attach accessories like gloves or something not really sure what their purpose would have been. The metal frame is strong the latch mechanism locks I do have a key but I don't think it is correct it does not appear to work. The slide latch does work as it should and the bag opens and closes properly. With a quick Google search I found a few other bags with same mechanism all dated 1910-1930. Not 100% sure of the intended use of this bag it is very unique to others I have seen similar but it was definitely well made and intended to handle weight.
