Harrison M300 with an original Dickson toolholder and around 7 toolholders.

I bought this as a single phase machine with a failed motor. The lathe has been fully stripped down, cleaned, repainted and a new 3 phase 4KW motor installed running via a VFD. All of the SKF bearings were replaced. The gearbox had basically seized up as the old oil had gone hard. This was all removed, flushed and replaced.

The original single phase Harrisons run fairly slow, with a top speed of around 1500 rpm from memory. The machine is currently geared to run around 3500 rpm, still within the limits of the headstock and bearings.

Included is a standard 3 jaw chuck, a 4 jaw chuck and the backing plate chuck shown in the images.

Please note that the machine does not have any coolant tank / pump however you can get aftermarket coolant pumps / tanks easily enough.

A video of the machine working can be found here -

We do not have loading facilities on site however have a pallet truck which easily moves the machine. Access is a bit limited - it would certainly be easier for someone that had a truck / forklift or similar.

The lathe is currently on wheels which makes moving it fairly straight forward, which is also an option besides a pallet truck.
