Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this original, early edition number 1336, NOS 1998 never fitted Dura Ace 25th anniversary groupset with all original papers and documentation plus the watch!

HISTORY

I am selling my entire bike collection which comprises of 16 bikes, all luxury high end pieces, there are Colnagos, Cervelo’s, Lemon’s, Specialized, with Carbon Titanium or Columbus steel frames and some of the most expensive parts in the world, there are also some frames, again Titanium and Colnago, Bianchi etc, some wheels Zipp 303’s, Campagnolo Hyperion carbons etc, and then a few parts. I also have a NOS in the case Dura Ace 25th Anniversary groupset. These are all that is left over from my bike shop, I have kept them for years hanging around my furniture workshop as pieces of art and to remember the good old days, my new warehouse doesn’t have the same hanging space so these all need to go!

DESCRIPTION

Normally at this point I would list every single part, if you are looking at this listing then you know what this is and I won't patronise you with the details, what I will do is include a list below of the extras and what the difference is between the standard groupset and the 25th Anniversary edition

In terms of the condition, it is NOS never fitted, it has been handled over the 23-24 years, there are some age related patina marks to the case here and there including the description plate on the second shelf, the case hasn't been kept in the outer box for the last couple of years hence the odd mark. The groupset likewise has been handled but not used

The extras are the original welcome letter, the exhibition book, all cables and casings, the warranty and manuals, the cleats for the pedals are in the pack with all the cables

The difference is as follows

STI-7700 STI Duel control lever - Aluminium silver cover plate

RD-7700 Rear mech -Titanium hanger bolt, titanium cable clamp bolt, stainless steel pivot pins, black pully wheels with white logo

FD-7700 front mech- Titanium mounting bolt, titanium cable clamp bolt, chrome plated spring, outer casing with special nickle alloy plating

BR-7700 brake calipers - Titanium bolts, titanium cable clamp bolt, silver anodized finish shoe holders, silver QR eccentric boss

FC-7700 chainset - Titanium crank bolts, anodized finished chainring, 25th anniversary logo caps, Dura ace chainring bolts, group serial number engraved on the left arm

CS-7700 cassette:- polished finish

HB-7700 front hub - Nickle plated bearing cones

FH-7700 rear hub - Nickle plated bearing cones

CN-7700 chain - 25th anniversary engraved outer plates

SP-7410 seatpost - Easton with titanium clamp bolt

Even as I write this list, I'm still tempted to follow through with my plan of finding a new old stock Colnago Arabesque frame and built this beauty up! This groupset is my pride and joy, I don't want to sell it but really its just knocking around the house, I'm based in Ifield and my warehouse are Pulborough if any perspective buyers want to view it

CONDITION

Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please also ask any questions before you bid and not after, all of our items are sold as seen and as listed

Royal House Antiques cannot be held liable for any independent assumptions made regarding the items we sell, if you are unsure on any point, please feel free to ask for clarity

IMPORT DUTY

Most countries charge some kind of import duty however almost all of our items won’t incur any charges as the items are exempt from tax due to the age and materials used

For European deliveries the price you will be quoted will include all clearance documentation and any customs charges so there won’t be any additional fees

For international deliveries such as the United States there can be some import duty to pay and or a clearance fee, I would estimate that 99% of all deliveries clear customs without being stopped for either

All duties are the responsibility of the purchaser who is the importer, they can’t be covered by the seller or shipping agent or factored in with additional retrospective discounts

RETURNS

Royal House Antiques offers a no quibble return policy if the item is not as described, if there are any issues with the piece you will be refunded in full once the item has been returned and inspected within 14 days, alternatively if there is a small issue, we can discuss finding a mutual resolution that makes all parties happy

We don’t offer a sale on approval service which means you can purchase the item, have it delivered and if you simply don’t like it, return it, this comes under change of mind or doesn’t fit. There is a lot of time, money and work involved in transporting goods around the world, the costs incurred can be vast so my advice would be if you are unsure on a piece please ask as many questions as you like to make sure you understand everything before you buy, if you are still unsure then please either arrange a viewing in person or if that’s not possible then don’t buy from an online retailer, perhaps look for a local gallery instead
