Mid 1700's Georgian period key for a Banbury lock

With the characteristic stepped down shaft
The step in the shaft acted as a stop against the internal ward plate

These are getting much harder to find

Aproximately:
89.6mm (3½") length
32g in weight

General usage wear, knocks, pitting, dings and marks
Slight curve at the tip

Clean - No rust

Please note - This WILL NOT FIT any lock you may already own
Each key was hand crafted to fit its own unique lock
