How to tell if an item is authentic Chamilia:
In 2008, Chamilia began stamping all of their products. Look for one of the following maker marks” :

C, or Chamilia, or CHAM, or 925, or Cham 925

What does 925 mean?

925 is the mark for Sterling Silver. It is 92.5% pure silver and the rest is some kind of alloy. This is much different than silver plated where a layer of silver is placed over another metal or alloy, and can be scraped off or tarnished easily.

Caring for Your Jewelry: 
Chamilia sterling silver and 14K gold beads are treated to resist tarnishing, but sometimes they need a quick touch-up. To do so, we recommend only using a jewelry polishing cloth. Do not use liquid silver polish as it removes the oxidization from the beads and bracelets. It is also recommended that you remove your jewelry before entering hot tubs or pools, as exposure to harsh chemical can alter the appearance of your Chamilia Product.
