Note: last photos are not included they are for reference only. I found an interesting article along with this photo online about how it was first published with a false story. Very fascinating, historical and rare. I have only come across this one original one during my entire time collecting.

Selling my extremely rare original Norma Jeane Marilyn Monroe photograph taken in 1947 by David Cicero. Here Marilyn is in an extremely difficult to find in an original photograph babysitting session. Gelatin silver. Produced from the original negative or transparency. Size 8x10. In excellent condition. My best guess is this was produced in the early 70’s.

"Most of what I did while I was at Fox that first time was pose for stills.

Publicity made up a story about how I was a baby sitter who'd been baby-sitting for the casting director and that's how I was discovered. They told me to say that, although it strictly wasn't true. You'd think that they would have used a little more imagination and have had me at least a daddy sitter."

-Marilyn Monroe to Pete Martin for “The Saturday Evening Post”, published on May 19, 1956.
