These cast iron fender end pieces are in very good condition and extremely rare survivors. They have been wiped with an oily rag so, if you decide to paint them, they need cleaning. I believe them to be in an Art Nouveau style that suggests they were designed by Christopher Dresser ref Japan. I am not in my comfort zone with the aesthetic movement so have listed them as possibly by Mackintosh. The casting is very ornate and few foundries in the UK would have been able to cast these, so suggest they are Kenrick, but equally Coalbrookdale could have been the maker. I welcome being corrected.
