The KRG -5 is the best gyro sensor for attitude control of small robots.

The body is designed to be lightweight and space-saving. Because it is housed in a special case, it can be fixed to the robot with screws, and it can also be rotated 90 degrees in accordance with the detection direction. The newly adopted device minimizes drift in which the output fluctuates depending on the environment and time of use.

This set comes in two pieces, perfect for using the humanoid type. Using two makes it possible to detect values in the front-to-back and left-to-right directions, allowing for more stable correction.

(Points to note when replacing from KRG -4)

The detection direction of this product is reversed compared to KRG -4. Also, the reference voltage is different. If you want to replace it, reverse the positive and negative settings of the HeartToHeart4 mix and reset the "Reference" before using.

About the sample project

For the above reasons, using the traditional KRG -4 sample project may cause the robot to malfunction. Be sure to use the sample project for KRG -5.
