DOUBLE MATTED DAFFY DUCK  SHEET OF STAMPS

This item features ten 33-cent stamps showing the Looney Tunes characters. These were issued on April 16, 1999 in Los Angeles, CA. The second picture shows a closeup of the panel which contains the 10th stamp in the set.

The Looney tunes series began in May, 1997 with Bugs Bunny. It was so wildly popular that it continued for 4 years ending with a total of5 in the series, each featuring the artwork of actual Warner Brothers animators. This was the third in the series, after Bugs Bunny & Sylvester & Tweety.

Inside matting is bright red and outside is dark blue textured.  The item is cut to fit into any standard 8 X 10 inch frame.
