For sale is a very rare, top of the line 25mm FOV 10x eyepiece from Carl Zeiss for the Axioplan series of microscopes. This lens provides the best corrected field of view from edge to edge. This lens has also become very popular in the astronomy community where this 25mm focal length eyepiece provides nearly unrivaled clarity and sharpness.
This lens is in good condition overall. The front lens is in excellent condition as is all of the internal lenses except the very last lens. As shown on photo 6, there appear to be 3 tiny little air bubbles in the rearmost lens. I don't know what else would cause these perfect little circles, but in any case, they do not remove with basic, gentle cleaning. Also the lens has a slight dent in the barrel near the front and the rear barrel is slightly out of round (see photo 5). Still an excellent performer!
