Hello,

This pot was made by long time and award winning potter; Tokoname Koyo. It’s got a beautiful glaze and it’s a well used pot. Please see all the pictures closely. If there are small chips i point them out with my finger.

Nice pot. Seems like everyone loves Koyo pots.

All pots have a little wobble. If it’s significant or there is damage, I’ll mention it below.

Many of the older koyo pots have crazing on the glaze in the corners.

Please see my Many other listings. We have the largest variety of high quality Japanese and old Chinese pots anywhere in the world.

*with the death of Aiba Koyo in the past year, I’ve really seen a spike in his pots prices.

-this old suiban was made in Showa 63, Shimo tsuki. Which means November of 1988. So says the bottom. Looks like it had a super heavy patina and was partially cleaned to see the original glaze color.
