MG42 Machine Gun

The German Maschinengewehr 42, or MG42, was one of the best machine-guns of the war, both in combat and in ease of production. It set the standard for machine-guns in the years that followed, and as such was the most important machine-gun of the war.

Recoil-operated and air-cooled, it was light enough to be portable while powerful enough to be deadly. At 900 rounds per minute, its rate of fire was unmatched when it came into service.

NOTES ON RESIN

Ordinary modelling glue is not suitable for resin. The best glue to use is a quality Super Glue (Cyanoacrylate), Gorilla Glue (Micro Precise) or Resin Epoxy Glue.

Resin cures in UV light, continual exposure to UV light will the resin more brittle, Due the nature of curing resin, some smaller parts will be more brittle and some of the larger parts slightly softer (hardly noticeable). There is also the slight possibility of fine layer lines showing, but these are hard to see with the naked eye.

This model is made of resin and therefore not suitable for young children or animals.
