This is genuine Lactuca Virosa acquired directly from an organic farm. It is hand picked and very high grade.

Wild Lettuce is known to have calming properties and some slight pain relieving properties.

TEA:
The tea pictured in the product photos was made by boiling 1 gm of leaf per 16 fluid ounces of water for 7 minutes. Then allowing the water to cool and straining out the herbs.

Tea made from this leaf by following the above instructions is bitter, as it should be. Genuine Lactuca Virosa Leaf is known to be bitter. However, we did not feel the need to sweeten it. If you prefer to sweeten your tea you can try adding some Honey or Stevia Leaves.

How is this Organic and Wild Lettuce Leaf processed? We exactly is this material?

1. When we receive Wild Lettuce Leaf it is immediately sterilized. This process is 100% chemical free and eliminates any insects that may have been picked up on its journey to us or elsewhere.

2. Each pound of this material is visually inspected and cleaned. Larger unwanted materials are removed.

3. It is then processed to remove smaller unwanted materials like herb dust and smaller particles.

4. After a thorough cleaning it is placed in dark, airtight, containers and stored at or below room temperature.

This process results in a loss of approximately 10 to 15% of the Wild Lettuce Leaf. Mostly consisting of some lower grade leaf, herb dust and smaller particles.

This item is considered perishable. We are unable to accept returns unless the wrong item is shipped or the item is damaged.
