Here's a real nice 1890s heavy stoneware Royal Stag Whisky jug with a stag, flowers & vines printed around the jug ..... GILMOUR THOMSON'S ROYAL STAG WHISKY in black underglaze print on front shoulder Stag TRADE MARK in square on front.... JORUM REPUTED QUART on back shoulder under handle..... GILMOUR THOMSON & CO LTD GLASGOW inside square on back....black flowers & vines in underglaze print around the jug.... H.KENNEDY BARROWFIELD POTTERY GLASGOW pottery maker's mark stamped into bottom (middle lettering is very faint).....thick heavy stoneware jug with applied handle....hollow pour spout lip....8 1/8"tall....It has a sliver chip on back of lip; no other damage.  A nice clean jug from the pre prohibition era of the 1890s or early 1900s...  THIS IS A FIXED PRICE JUG FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
