Our hip bags are made using quality 100% organic leather which has been tanned naturally without the use of harmful chemicals such as chromium, using techniques dating from medieval times. The natural markings of the hide are left visible adding to the character and individuality of the leather. Artisans then hand cut and stitch the bags in small family workshops using traditional tools. The leather is then oiled to protect it and produce the lovely brown colours.
No chemical de-oderizers are used in the processing of the leather so the bags may have a strong smell of leather when new which fades with use.
This bag has two zipped pockets (front and back) and two open pockets to the front.
External dimensions not including the belt: Height 25cm x Width 17cm.
The length of the belt is approx. 28" fastened on the smallest hole and 42" on the longest hole.
The two zipped pockers will happily fit an iphone and a few extra small items such as glasses, purse, keys etc.
As these are handmade and hand oiled sizes may vary by up to 1cm and the shades of brown may vary slightly from the photos, the leather is naturally tanned so may have some imperfections.
