Description

Item Description.
This 16" acoustic guitar was made in 1955 by Epiphone of New York.
Fingerboard and head veneer are made of Hakaranda with slotted block position marks.
The neck is cherry, the top is solid spruce, and the side backs are maple. The body back is arched, and the entire body is elaborately made for this advanced model.

The 16" body is elegantly shaped with beautiful harmonic sustain.
From traditional jazz, country, fingerpicking, to solo playing, the more you play it, the more solid it sounds, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.

The neck is in good condition with 80% frets remaining and no noticeable warping. The truss rod is confirmed to have enough room.
The string height is about 1.8mm on the 1st string at 12F and about 2.6mm on the 6th string at 12F, which is very easy to play for such an old acoustic guitar.

Replacement parts are pegs, rod cover, bridge, strap pins, and nut fret. There is an additional strap pin and end pin replacement. The "e" mark on the pickguard is missing.
The case is non-original, but a hard case is included.

Good sound of original Epiphone made in New York, different from Gibson and Martin.
