This is a beautiful French Provincial carved oak confiturier cabinet. Confiturier cabinets were originally used to house jams and jellies but later became used for other household purposes.   Hence the pretty carvings on the paneled door including grapes and tendrils, etc.   Executed in quartered oak and with mitered corners. Note the raised panel sides and the piece retains the original working key.  A very fine small cabinet in excellent condition.  Late 19th century. Approximately 30"h x 26"w x 17"d  Email any day (see email address above---I normally check
email several times each day) for any questions you may have.
