Taken from original illustrations, this print by Golden Era covers 'classic' tanks of the Second World War from Britain, Germany, Russia and America. It includes the famous Panzer III, the Cromwell, the T-34 and the M4 Sherman. Tanks were an important weapons system in World War II. Although tanks were the subject of widespread research in the inter-war years, production was limited to relatively small numbers in a few countries. However, during World War II most armies employed tanks, and production levels reached thousands each month. Tank usage, doctrine and production varied widely among the combatant nations. By the end of World War II however, a consensus was emerging regarding tank design.

Printed on thick 230gsm paper it is suitable for framing with a mount or without.
