I don't know a lot about this other than my mom bought it in 1973 (so I would have been 9).

I don't know where she bought it, possibly from my aunt (her sister) who was an antique dealer in Mpls/St.Paul.

I just remember us kids weren't supposed to sit in it.

It sat in our formal living room, which never got used, until we moved to Nebraska, where we didn't have a formal living room, so it sat in a back room that really never got used.

To this day, I don't know if I've ever sat on it.

Anyway, fast forward, our mom passed away a year and a half ago, and my brother or I don't really have a place for it.
