Drive Belts: These After Market Drive Belts are Made to as Close as is Possible to the Originals Specifications. It is Recommended that you change the Drive Belt Every 12 Months, this avoids Drive Belt Stretching, Speed Instability & Slow Platter Start Up.

Fine Speed Adjustment: Always Disconnect the Turntable from the Mains Supply before doing any Work on it..
After Changing the Drive Belt you will Need to Adjust the Speed so it is 100% Correct. To do this you will Need to Adjust the Eddy Brake Effect.
It is Very Easy to do, However a Little Trial & Error will be Needed to Get the Speed Spot On.
First Off, Make Sure that the Deck has been Running for at Least 30 Minutes (its Impossible to Set the Speed Correctly with it Cold)
Fine Speed Adjustment is Accomplished by Eddy Current Forces by altering the Position of a Vane Located Beneath the Rotating Step Pulley in Relation to a Magnet set at the Perimeter of the Step Pulley. The Range of the Fine Speed Adjustment is + Or - 3% of the Mean Speed. It can be Adjusted by Moving the Magnet Closer or Further away from the Step Pulley.
As you Move the Magnet Closer to the Step Pulley the Turntable Platter Speed will Slow a Little, Move the Magnet Further away & it will Speed Up a Little.
To Check the Speed is Accurate Replace the Platter, Run the Turntable & Check the Strobe is Steady & Not Running Fast or Slow.
You will Need to do this Several Times until you get it Spot On. (There is not any other way to do it, Remember these were Built in the Late 1950s)
The Eddy Brake is the Piece of Metal Between the Smaller & Larger Pulleys .
