WHAT IS CORDUROY FABRIC - 100% cotton corduroy 8 wale fabric refers to a specific type of corduroy fabric that is made from cotton fibres and has a wale count of 8. "Wale" refers to the number of ridges or cords per inch in corduroy fabric. In this case, the fabric has 8 wale per inch. 60" - 150 cm wide. This product is priced per Half Metre / Metre. All orders are cut off the roll & sent as a continuous piece where possible.

WHAT IS CORDUROY FABRIC USED FOR - The fabric is popular for making pants, skirts, jackets, blazers, vests, and shirts. The fabric's softness and warmth make it suitable for cooler weather garments. The wales are the raised ridges formed by these pile yarns, which run lengthwise in the fabric. Cotton corduroy fabric is well known for its softness, comfort, and warmth which makes it the perfect fabric for a versatile use.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Machine wash in warm water, using a gentle cycle, use non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Iron on medium heat as needed to remove creases.
