This Pocket Flugelhorn has a great sound and I'm very impressed with it.  CarolBrass® did a great job fine tuning the original Phat Puppy designed by Andy Taylor.
 
Andy Taylor sells his original version of the Phat Puppy at a price of $3,925.00 (not including shipping and import duties from the UK).  With that in mind, the CarolBrass® version is a great price.  I owned a Taylor Phat Puppy and I can say without a doubt the CarolBrass® has made a few improvements.  Intonation is spot on which is hard to achieve in a Flugelhorn let alone a compact version of it. The relocation and reconfiguration of the slides has improved the intonation as well as the comfort holding it.  It weighs 2.5 lbs which is lighter than a typical standard sized Flugelhorn.  It looks super cool too!

There simply is no other Pocket Flugelhorn on the market.  This is truly in a class of it's own.
