Durch den Einsatz von CMYK-Tintenstrahltechnologie haften sich Tintentröpfchen an das Farbe absorbierende PLA-Filament an, wodurch der da Vinci Color durch Kombination von Tintentröpfchen auf dem Filament Ausdrucke in verschiedenen Farben erstellen kann. Weltweit sind dafür 40 Patente angemeldet.

Das neue XYZprinting Material - CPLA (Color PLA) ermöglicht die Absorption von Tintentröpfchen. Dadurch kann der da Vinci Color Vollfarbdrucke drucken. Das CPLA-Filament ist auch robuster als herkömmliche PLA-Filamente, eignet sich perfekt für Werkzeuge und liefert gute Haftung sowie Stoßfestigkeit. Seine Vielseitigkeit bietet Benutzern die kreative Freiheit zum Integrieren des Materials in beliebige Projekte.
Mit dem da Vinci Color lässt sich alles direkt steuern. Dies geschieht über einen benutzerfreundlichen Farb-Touchscreen, auf dem sich Funktionen wie z.B. die automatische Plattformkorrektur und die Verbindung zu Ihrem WLAN-Heimnetzwerk einstellen lassen. Der da Vinci Color verfügt über zahlreiche Sensoren, die während des Druckvorgangs defektes Material erkennen, sodass Benutzer Ausdrucke ohne Verlust an Zeit und Filamenten stoppen und starten können.
The da Vinci Color is XYZprinting's first FDM desktop 3D printer with true color technology achieved through the combination of inkjet and 3D printing technology. By using CMYK inkjet technology, droplets of ink attach itself to the color-absorbing PLA filament, allowing the da Vinci color to create prints of various colors by combining the dye droplets on the filament.
