ZIP DRIVES AND DISKS
ZIP drive (100Mb) with SCSI on Macintosh
ZIP drive (100Mb) with USB for use with either Macintosh or PC
There are twelve 100Mb disks. 11 work and have been tested, the 12th I simply found later and haven't tested yet. All but two have cases, although many of the cases have damage to their hinges.
The zip drives work fully. They allow exchange of files (up to the size of the disk) between old Macintosh systems (9, for instance and an old system 10) and USB PCs (PC formatted disks will play on the old Mac equipment). The USB drive works on a contemporary Windows 7 laptop. I have tested this and transfer of files in both directions is possible. However, the length of file name is much shorter on the Mac systems, so these can become truncated.

Mac Classic in black carry-bag. This isn't working. I've tried adjustin gthe pots to no avail. There's no ping/bong, so that may suggest a low voltage issue, as the screen comes on, but with a static pattern. See the webpage in the following box. See also two pdfs in the documents folder. See also the forum page in the box after next

Small laptop 5400
Small laptop of older type with poor screen. This is a Powerbook PC 1400cs. The screen isn't too bad if you turn contrast lowish and brilliance highish. So it's saleable. The hard disk would need to be double-checked before passing it on. At the moment it has Clarisworks with a Hadders name on it, so that would have to be removed and the rest checked, or just over write the rest of the space and reinstall the system from the cd that's in the case. It has a case! They can sell for anything from £.50 to £30. Someone is trying to get £650 in the States. However, with a case that's got to be a bit of a special item. Sell it!
HARD DRIVES
2Gb for Macintosh (this is the biggest size that can be used on some of the old Macintosh computers, perhaps it's the compact type
120Mb for Macintosh
40Mb – old Macintosh hard disk
47Gb – this was the largest that I could find that would run on the older Macintoshs. At the time – there are two of these – one is ok – the other is seemingly next-to ok, but it won't work, it says 'it can't be found. However, at the moment it is packed with private information so I have either to get it working in order to clean it, or I need to keep it or drill a hole through it and recycle.
There is also the 120Mb Qisk disks – two of these. I haven't decided to part with either yet, so I haven't erased them
The Mac Classic has or had a 57.9Mb hard drive. This has has the 'filler'treatment, and left the system 6 folder on it. I may swap it with another disk to try in the Mac Classic because it even date the Mac Classic is not working.

the regular type sell for around £8 to £15 – the better price seems to be in the States.
We need three for the Classics and one for the table. That's four. I have eleven that are working. If I keep two spares, that's six I need to keep, and that leaves five to sell. Which shape – I could try both, I guess.
KEYBOARDS
I have 6 keyboards of this type. I need to keep one for the table, and three for Mac Classics, That's four altogether, or five if I keep a spare. That only leave one to sell!

IMAGEWRITER II
Imagewriter II, with six spare (used) printheads, plus unused (sealed in bag) ribbon and a spare used one, plus one unused (sealed in bag) printhead guide and a spare used one. Mains lead will be supplied, although not shown in pictures. Inside has ink marks. The casing has a little distortion from a fan heater many years ago, but it doesn't alter performance at all – you can see the distortion beneath the lid. Also a small stack of continuous feed paper, not shown in pictures, but would give you a start.
3 x Ribbon for Imagewriter and Imagewriter II. Unused, sealed in bag.
