The item was found in my parents you chest. Originally, I thought the brownish tinting was caked on mud. Repeated cleanings led me to think it is remnants of gold colored paint.

He is holding a flashlight on one hand, a treasure chest. He is brandishing a knife in his right boot.

He may have originally been stabilized in the vertical position; there appears to be remnants of black posts through the bottoms of his boots.

There is also black paint highlighting his uniform.

Note the 3 holes in helmet's sides and rear.

Perhaps he is part of an aquarium's decor.  Air pump tubing may have been connected through his helmet.

He cannot stand alone due to black posts extendimg from soles.
