The reverse of the coin depicts Yaroslav the Wise with a collection of laws in his hand with the two-line inscription ``RUSSIAN TRUTH'' against the background of a mosaic image of the face of Oranta (on the left) and the cathedral (on the right), as well as stylized inscriptions on top in two lines: YAROSLAV, 1015, THE WISE, 1054 and below in two lines: PRINCESS UKRAINE.

Dedicated to the statesman, Grand Duke Yaroslav the Wise of Kyiv (1015-1054), during whose reign Kyivan Rus strengthened and expanded its borders, the international position of the state strengthened, the Kyiv Metropolitanate was founded, a collection of laws of Ancient Russian law was developed, and Ancient Russian culture reached its highest level of development.
