A very charming handmade wooden box, simply constructed using Plywood and metal pins but having a beautiful Art Deco look with rounded corners and asymmetric handle.

It could well be a student/apprentice piece as its slightly naive in areas but still a fab looking box with a dark stained finished simulating teak.

My guess is it was made anywhere between the late 1920's - 1940's.


Good size for jewellery or keys. Also a nice prop/display item.


Measures: 6.5" x 5.5" x 3" (approx).
