Sao Ching Cha
The Giant Swing is a religious Structure in Bangkok, Thailand. Located in the front of "Wat Suthat", it was formerly used in an old Brahmin ceremony. It is also one of
a symbol of Bangkok and a must-visit tourist attractions.


THE GIANT SWING

The Giant Swing or "Sao Ching Cha" located in front of Wat Suthat Temple, is one of Bangkok's most famous tourist attractions. This eye-catching red religious structure of 30 meters in height was originally built in 1784 for an old Brahmin swing ceremony. It has been through many strikes of lightning and severa renovations. Sao Ching Cha now stands tall as an important landmark in the heart of the city and was suggested as a future UNESCO World Heritage Site.
