Fresh cutting will be taken from the mother tree as shown in the picture(taken in 2015).  the tree has grown much bigger now. The tree produces abundant peaches year after year in Zone 6 without protection. 

Depends on the season of order, the cuttings may have leaves/fruits. Cutting will be the newest woody within 1 year old, i.e. new growth of twigs that have been lignified or new twigs from last year.
