Here's an early 1870s Star Lager Beer applied tapered lip bottle from Cincinnati, Ohio with long lady's leg neck and a Newark, Ohio glasshouse maker's mark on bottom.....STAR L.B.B.CO (star) CIN.O. (boldly emb on front shoulder)...N with star and 2 dots on bottom....indicating this bottle was at the Star Glass Co of Newark,Ohio...Hand blown in mold, bimal.....applied tapered collar with sharp bottom edge.....aqua....round with nice curved lady leg neck.....9 3/4"tall....Good condition with no chips or cracks. A dug bottle with haze. It should tumble clean nice since the glass is not etched or pitted. This is an unusual lager beer bottle that we dug from an 1870s privy pit.  It is from the Star Lager Beer Bottling Co...
