We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful original finish solid black walnut true Victorian carved gentleman’s chair with needlepoint on the seat and back. The chair dates to the 1880s in its original condition. I can’t imagine the fabric is original as it is in outstanding condition. It is a beige background with a floral design across the back and seat. The walnut has aged to a gorgeous patina over the years. The chair is all tight and sturdy. It is 25 inches wide across the arms, 22 inches deep, 43 inches high to the chair back and 17 inches high to the seat. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on up to $150 especially if you're on the West Coast.
