Marilyn Monroe Rare Something's Got to Give Original Publicity Photo by James Mitchell. Gelatin silver, black and white, single weight, black and white photo. Monroe was fired from the set of George Cukor's remake of My Favorite Wife (1940) after missing several days of shooting due to illness, but was rehired after some negotiations; sadly, her untimely death two months later later put an end to the production. Photo by James Mitchell. The lower and right border have been trimmed. There are two very small tears in the bottom border, and some minor creasing in the top and bottom corners on the right border. Original publicity material for this unfinished film comes along very rarely.

Please see enlarged photo for condition details.
