CHINESE ZODIAC: The Chinese zodiac is based on the Chinese calendar that assigns an animal and its attributes to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle. The zodiac and its variations remain popular in many East Asian and Southeast Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, and Thailand. As compared to the Western zodiac, both have time cycles divided into twelve parts, each labels at least the majority of those parts with names of animals, and each associates a person's personality or events in their life to the influence of the person's particular relationship to the cycle. There are major differences however: The animals of the Chinese zodiac are not associated with constellations but with a twelve-part cycle corresponding to years rather than months which last all year long. The signs of the Chinese zodiac also correspond to a lunar month, a fixed element and with an Earth season. The most recent animal signs correlations are as follows: Ox 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021; Sheep 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015; Rat 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020: Snake 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013; Dragon 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012; Tiger 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022; Rabbit 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011; Horse 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014; Monkey 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016; Rooster 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017; Dog 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018; and Pig 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019.

♡ All bracelets come with instruction tips on how to best care for your stretch bead bracelet.

HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY ~ Bracelets are constructed one at a time and therefore no two will be exactly alike. Due to variations in both materials and sourced supplies, slight imperfections are to be expected. Natural beads and stones often contain flaws, blemishes, variations and inclusions. I always do my best to accurately reproduce the designs portrayed in my shop. Please note also that photography presents differently on varying devices.

♡ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ♡

Your stretch bracelet is handcrafted to be strong and lasting, but elastic, stones, beads and metal plating are not eternal. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible:

> DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms.

> AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones.

> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising.

> ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off.

> STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.
