The LNP-1204GN is a Gigabit Managed Redundant Ring PoE Ethernet switch with 8 x 10/100/1000Base-T(X) PoE ports with P.S.E (Power Sourcing Equipment) function and 4 x 1000Base-X SFP ports. With complete support of the Ethernet Redundancy protocol, the switch (recovery time < 20ms over 250 units of connection) and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D) can protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its fast recovery technology. Antaira's LNP-1204GN provides advanced IP-based bandwidth management which allows the user to limit the maximum bandwidth for each of their IP devices. The LNP-1204GN also supports application-based QoS. In other words the switch can set the highest priority of data according to the TCP/UDP port number. The LNP-1204GN's special IP police function will only permit allowable IP and MAC addresses to access the network, therefore creating an extremely secure network. The switch can also provide advanced DOS/DDOS auto prevention. If IP flow becomes too large over a short amount of time, the LNP-1204GN switch will lock the source IP address to prevent an attack. It has hardware based prevention so it can prevent DOS/DDOS attacks immediately and completely. The LNP-1204GN supports Power over Ethernet, a system to transmit electrical power up to 30 watts, along with data, to remote devices over a standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network. All functions of the LNP-1204GN switch can also be managed conveniently by Open-Vision 3.0 or above, except the Web-based interface, Telnet and console (CLI) configurations. Therefore, the switch is one of the most reliable choices for highly-managed and Gigabit Fiber Ethernet applications.
