RARE VASELINE GREEN COINDOT   SELTZER BOTTLE FROM DOVER NJ.

Scarce Thumbprint ( Coindot)  Vaseline Seltzer bottle from Dover, New Jersey.  Honeycomb looking shaped optics with a pedestal base from Morris County, NJ.  This is phenomenal example with an etched shield logo that reads AMERICAN BOTTLING / DOVER NJ.   This example is from the early part of the 20th century and remains in very good condition. This one aims to please.    

This is not a common bottle.  This bottler chose two extraordinary features to stand out amongst other seltzer providers of their time.   A rare honeycomb shape in the glass along with glowing vaseline glass.  The combination is outstanding and a highly sort after example in both bar, soda water and colored glass design collections. 


 Condition is excellent with nothing other than a few bites to the glass. One of them completely on the underside of the base.  See pics and please ask any questions.  This is a beautiful example and a fine addition to any collection.
