This 5-in-1 water test has been designed for fresh and sea water aquariums & ponds, and is ideal to test any fresh & salt water. It checks tests for 5 different elements: nitrate, nitrite, total hardness, total alkalinity and pH in one test strip.

The special pH test pad is designed for low-ionic and low-buffered waters present in aquariums. The test strips measure water hardness due to calcium carbonate and can help you determine whether you have hard or soft water in just seconds.

**For the nitrite test pad, the unit of measure is as nitrite, not nitrite-nitrogen. For the nitrate test pad, the unit of measure is as nitrate, not nitrate-nitrogen.

How to use:

1. Dip one strip with all pads into water sample for 2-3 seconds with gentle motion.
2. Remove strip and hold level.
3. Wait 1 minute, then compare colour change to colour chart on the container.

General description: For semi-quantitative determinations. Detection method: colorimetric. Fast, simply dip and read indicator paper. Consists of a plastic strip with attached sealed test paper. Compare colour change of test paper with fields on colour chart provided.
