Lucille turner watches as Clementine Benn serves up lunch provided by the Council on Aging to senior citizens visiting the Lower Algiers Community Center five days a week. The seniors take turns in the kitchen dishing out the food. Both women come to the center often to spend their days. The center is one of two in danger of closing because of state budget cuts.Photo measures 10 x 8inches. Photo is dated 03-31-1993.
