This is a beautiful example of Parisian porcelain. A wonderful sauce/gravy boat circa early 1900s. The large serving dish is attached to an oval tray and has a handle made in the shape of a lion's head. It is made of white porcelain with graceful curves and has been hand painted with blue cornflowers, green sprigs, and 24kt gold on the head ,neck and rim . The tray has been decorated on one end with a raised acanthus leaf and scroll . The maker is unknown. The only identifying mark I have found is incised 55 other than a faint red mark remaining on underside.

Measurements: 10" Long x 6" Tall x 5" Wide

Pre-Owned Antique condition is very good

There is minimal wear to some of the gold accents . There are no chips ,cracks, crazing or repairs.

Please see Photos for additional information.

Note: I’m including the demitasse cup pictured along with the sauce boat . Perhaps this will help in identifying maker?!
