Here we have a fabulous reproduction (circa 1815) English Regency dining set. I don't know the exact age, but the Theodore Alexander collaboration with Charles Spencer (9th Earl Spencer and younger brother of Princess Diana) began in 2004.

From the Theodore Alexander Althorp Living History Collection, this discontinued hand-crafted set consists of FOUR Coronet black lacquered, parcel gilt, hand painted cane seat chairs. Each chair has a tailored silk embroidered cushion which is gold with a pale blue shift and gold embroidered crowns. Also, a gorgeous metal (gold leafed cast aluminum to resemble bronze) table base with scalloped glass top. The ogee edge glass top rests upon four black stone disks with a fifth larger stone disk seated in the base of the table where the heraldic lion/dragon tails converge.

STUNNING details throughout. Coat-of-arms crest adorns the back of each chair, a truly beautiful set from every angle. Chair back height is approximately 35".

Perfect for a breakfast nook. Very very good overall condition, no breaks nor repairs. Unfortunately there are stains to the silk seat cushions. I have not tried to clean the cushions, stains may come out with dry-cleaning. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
