In addition, weÕve improved communication performance, making the J560 PLC Adapter essential for anyone working with ABS brakes. This product extends the capability of J1708/J1587 diagnostic tools to support J2497 Power Line Carrier (PLC) communication. Basically, it extracts data from the power line and converts it to J1708. You can use the Universal J560 PLC Adapter with a generic ABS diagnostic software application to do the following: ¥ Detect ABS warning lamp messages coming from the trailer ECU. ¥ Test the in-cab trailer ABS warning lamp. ¥ Test SAE J1708 MID 10 and 11 messages. ¥ Test SAE J1587 MIDs 136 through 139. In addition, you can connect the Universal J560 PLC Adapter to a vehicle between the tractor and the trailer, or to the trailer alone without the tractor. The Universal J560 PLC Adapter can be used with virtually any heavy-duty vehicle communication interface or scan tool.

 International orders must be shipped from our International shipping office in California, if the tool is not in our International California warehouse and must be transferred, this usually adds 1-2 business days but in some cases may add up to 7 days to total international shipping time. If you would like to know if the item is in stock in our California warehouse, please let us know.

Depending on the item we will ship either via UPS or USPS. Shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico,Guam and Hawaii are extra, also shipping to these areas adds to handling time. Most Items ship UPS and are received within 3 days of payment. Items damaged in shipping should not accepted if damage is obvious, if not Tooldom must be contacted immediately. If you return a tool you will be responsible for shipping costs. Items will be shipped usually within 1 day of receiving payment.
