Full Size Original WW11 Medals. 1939-45 British Star & the Italy Star medal.

Both medals are made in die struck brass, with a semi-matt gilt finish. Both with original ribbons.

The 1935-45 Star was a campaign medal of the British Commonwealth, awarded for service in the Second World War. This medal was awarded for operational service between 03/09/1939 to 02/09/1945. The ribbon is in the colours of the Navy, Army & Air Force.

The 1943-45 Italy Star is a military campaign medal , instituted by United Kingdom in May 1945. for award to British Commonwealth forces who served in the Italian Campaign from 1943-1945 during WWII.

All star medals were not engraved when originally issued.
