We are pleased to be offering today this high-end quality stylish sturdy solid set of tiger sawn oak dining chairs by the Paine Furniture Company who are well known for their high standards of quality furniture. Dating from the 1890s in unbelievable original condition, this set of 6 consists of one master knuckle armchairs and five side chairs. Someone has put a floral fabric and added padding for additional comfort on the seats. The finish is a dark oak stain. The overall size of the armchair is 25 inches wide across the outside of the arms, 25 inches wide on the seat,25 inches deep, 40 inches high to the top of the curl back, 27 inches high to the arms, 20 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38.5 inches high to the chair back and 20 inches high to the seat. The top crest is a roll over solid tiger sawn oak that goes down into a wide graceful center splat. The arms are carved and curled with a support brace. They have flared back leg and a simplistic style front leg. It is all tiger sawn oak. The chairs came out of the same estate as a matching Paine sideboard and table.
