3/07/24 UPDATE:  4/5 holes in arm have been patched.  see last 3 pictures.

i'm waaay too much of a richie cunningham to rock this jacket.
so i looked up 'leather gold' branded motorcycle jackets on here and only found 2 examples.
one was 20 bucks but falling apart and the other was listed for $600 and more beat up than this one.  hmm, conundrum.
both had that weird side lacing deal going on which i've never personally approved of or totally understood.

conditions
leather feels surprisingly sturdy for a not so high end brand.  this is a solid mid-level jacket..  nothing flimsy or cheap, no cost cutting/split if you have an accident seam up the middle of back..very decent leather just not the premium super thick hide or the premium price you'd expect to pay for a premium jacket..
BIG sturdy zippers.
the major flaws are 4 smallish? holes on inner right arm.  see picture.  (big holes FIXED)
otherwise just fairly minor scuffs (mainly on back of collar- looks to have been addressed with a sharpie, though not by me), nicks, small ciggy burn? near right bicep, scrapes consistent with a 40+ year old jacket.  pictured.
all buckles, snaps, rivets and zippers work fine with nothing coming loose or funky.
lining is in great shape except for small tear above label where a former owner hung it on a peg.  see picture.
no stains, rips, tears or odors otherwise.
pockets are all (very well made and sturdy!) perfect.
will polish up nicely if you so desire it.
