Original and quite rare Jim Pollock print purchased from the artist’s webpage. It is a ten color linoleum block cut print used as promotional material for a printer in Chicago.
Image of President George Washington from US currency with image of Rohner, the founder of the printer.
Rohner Letterpress retained half of the prints for promotional usage, the first numbers 1-50 were distributed to Pollock's Subscribers and the remaining 100 prints were made available on Pollock's website.
This is #91.
Bruno Rohner commissioned Pollock to create this print to celebrate his first decade in business following in his father’s footsteps.

Jim Pollock is known for his Phish posters, but is known across the art world as a fantastic artist in linoleum block cut printmaking and other related mediums. His views on important international topics, politics, the environment, music, as well as imaginative renderings and unique character creations are aspects of his art that make it very popular.
I collected these unique Pollocks over the years and have decided to move them down the road to the next collector.
