DESCRIPTION
The MT6701 is MagnTek's new generation of magnetic angle encoder chip based on differential Hall sensing principle. The MT6701 senses the magnetic field component perpendicular to the chip surface, and with the rotation of 1 pair of pole magnetized radial magnets on the chip surface, the MT6701 correspondingly outputs angle signals from 0~360°. In addition to providing ABZ/UVW incremental outputs and Analog/PWM absolute angle outputs, the MT6701 also provides 14 bit digital angle outputs through the I2C/SSI interface. angle outputs via the I2C/SSI interface. In addition to rotary angle measurement, MT6701 also provides a "press" output to realize the single-chip button (rotary + press) function.
